Thomas Allen Scarboro was born May 10, 1947 in Asheville, North Carolina. Tom graduated from
Officer Candidate Class 10-69 on May 27, 1969. 1LT Tom Scarboro began his tour of duty in
Vietnam September 28, 1969. He died from multiple fragmentation wounds received during combat
on April 8, 1970 at Binh Dinh, South Vietnam. Tom's name is located on Panel 12W, Row 108
on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall.
